Been doing a lot of walking of late. Sometimes as many as four miles. Over fifteen miles a week. It is often difficult to convince myself to go out for a walk yet once I get going, I am never content with twenty minutes or two miles. Strava app keeps me competitive with my own records. I know the measured segments during my walks and often pick up the pace when I am on a measured segment.

Today, at the start of the tough uphill climb on old Charles St Avenue, I reminded myself that I need to stay focused simply on happiness. I am happy when I am feeling healthy and, more importantly, when my three women are happy. Gaby and Jane are not so far away that the feeling must be more telepathic than tangible or tactile. In any case, Peter, be happy.
