Vermont climate change laws

Making climate change illegal, Vermont-style. Welcome to the Socialist State of Bernie Sanders. First, let's look at how the 'frustrated' legislators went about writing this law.

As an example of the 'science' behind these supposedly follow-the-science laws, let's look at one area of prime interest to these lawyers, and that's the percent of days above ninety degrees in Vermont over the past hundred years, as shown graphically below.

So let's compare (see graph, left) the lawmakers' projection of the trend (dotted red line) in extreme temperatures in Vermont with the actual, statistical, scientific trend from the past one hundred years (dotted blue line), using the hundred years of data from the previous graph.

So are you going to follow the lawmakers' wild projection? Or the science?
