Trees for Touchdown

Trees add an element of timeliness and nature to our Touchdown lot and home.

The idea had been incubating for almost two years and the idea crystallized in the past three months, primarily from seeing the work of Homestead Trees at a home on Dusty. A few phone calls and texts, two visits to the tree farm, and we could have three trees by the end of the month. The pair will outline our back yard and Dena named them "Jane" and Gaby". The single tree we chose for the front yard, assuming e can use a sixty-inch hole. This afternoon, Dena picked up fifteen bags of cow manure for tree fertilizer and protection.
