McDonalds does not have the healthiest food in the world and it has long been described as a fast food place, but this morning I found that retiree rhythm that allowed me to convert a fast-food place into a quiet interlude after a morning of tasks. Using the kiosk to order made it simpler still. And seeing the calorie count on my order erased any guilt I may have applied to my fast-food choice.

Right after this short interlude I received my May Strava report. Retirement has been very good for my walking. My general goal for the past year had been to walk about two miles a day, five times a week. In May, I had 29 active days and 87 miles with a total elevation of 6,092 feet.

And the basement walls are in on Touchdown Drive!
