The joy of acknowledging our progress

January 1, 2021. Too often our political 'leaders' and media moguls attack families, traditions, capitalism and our cherished "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," highlighting only their perceived 'injustices' rather than paying attention to the seamless garment of progress and prosperity.

Per Steven Pinker, the press could have reported "135,000 people escaped absolute poverty today"every day for the past thirty or forty years, but they have no such stories because they have no such interest in the positive.

Instead, we have pandemic policies -- not the pandemic itself -- that will drive 135 million people back into absolute poverty and prospect of starvation this year, while the progressive politicians, the media moguls and the tech mandarins grow their wealth while practicing completely disingenuous virtue signaling and lip service toward true economic and political freedom.

The massive circus of this past week, with GameStop raising from the ashes, courtesy of Robinhood and a band of merry Reddit investors, showed the unwillingness of the common man to take on the oligarchy. The the empire struck back.
