The impossibility of achieving equity

Fwbruary 2023. The myth is that the world -- or the country, the state, or a village -- can ever achieve meaningfully equal outcomes in terms of income and wealth, i.e., "equity." All the posturing, hand wringing, jealousy, envy, punditry, politicians and progressive wokeism can never present a coherent model for achieving "equity". Instead, they simply lament "inequality" and use its supposed virtue as a club, as a way to be dismissive of rational argument, and as a basis for cancel culture. Much like the logic that if you are not an anti-racist, you must be a racist, the argument here is that if you don't blindly support, adhere to and pray at the altar of "equity" rhetoric, you must, of course, be an evil, cancel-worthy, hate-filled, white supremacist.
In brief, were one to be so smart or innovative to provide and operational definition of income or wealth equity across a meaningful population, and then even skillful enough to achieve this euphoric state, once that state was achieved, within a millisecond it would deteriorate, and soon probably out of control.
