The clear case against "consensus science"

Why scientific consensus is an oxymoron. If it's science, it's not consensus. If it's consensus it's not science. Critical thinking trumps global consensus -- but only if you think about it.

I never liked the concept of "securing a consensus," which practically means an agreement in which everyone finds some fault in the agreed decision. Ot the concept of teaching college students "rhetoric," which ends up being argument without clear evidence, or a form of "everybody knows this to be true so we can assume that it is true,"
