Covid foolishness roundup

Clips from the past week worth noting. Starting with a headline worth remembering.

Fauci and New York Times found to be foolishly incorrect on Covid deaths in Sweden.

Sweden suffered not nearly as much as the Americans Fauci failed. The problem is not an absence of vaccines, masks, lockdowns or social distancing. The problem is an almost seven-fold increase since 1935 in the prevalence of chronic disease in Americans. Let that sink in. And then go back and look at that March 2020 headline from Italy, and also note the average age at death -- 79.5 years old -- and compare that to life expectancy in Italy or the United States. Then look at the chart below, and the graph at the lower right: As I noted more than a year ago, mortality rates for Covid in the United States very closely parallel overall mortality rates. One need only compare them to Social Security's mortality rate tables -- they are almost interchangeable data.
Fauci found to be confused on vaccine effectiveness, from 100% to 39%. Not only has the vaccine's effectiveness been brought into serious question, the campaign against alternative interventions, e.,g, Ivermectin, has been matched by the nine new pharma billionaires based on their no-liability vaccines. There is little money to be made with legacy drugs; it is not conspiratorial to remind people to "follow the money."
