Under Bidenomics, the percentage of Americans in poverty has nearly doubled, from about 6% to 12%, using the Supplemental Poverty Measure (see middle chart, second row down from top), gas prices and inflation have stayed sticky high, and household incomes have monotonically declined and household debt has increased.


The "inflation reduction" act flooded homes with cash after Covid policies kept them from discretionary spending, only to have the "new normal" come back to bite -- hard. Prices up, wealth down, cash down, poverty rates up.
