Hard to think of how our daughters could make us any happier. They are disciplined, caring, charming, and industrious. They make me smile more than they make me laugh, but laughter is not absent. They make me proud. And they make me want -- at times -- to go back to college and start the journey over.

I tell Dena that listening to old music makes me feel young. And listening to new music makes me feel old. Music from the Sixties though the first half of the Eighties often causes my mind to jump back to the time when I heard that song several times a day, back when the radio was our primary free music source, back to when 'disk jockeys' were celebrities bigger than any Kardashian is today. A brief, sentimental journey back in time can bring me joy. And why not?
