Our daughters inspire me in powerful yet very different ways. While both daughters are beautiful, hard working, determined and committed, Gaby's devotion to the vegan life reflects a maturation process hard to imagine in a world full of fast food, processed food, commercials for junk food, and simply bad eating habits. I claim no credit here -- she did this on her own, based on her own careful research and understanding of her body and the world. She is not a really a zealot, nor does she nag me about my bad habits, but every time I see a vegan restaurant, I smile and experience the Joy of Gaby.
