January 1, 2022. The mainstream elite media are full of 'statistics' or terms they use to further the narrative, consistent with the adage about much like how a drunk uses a lamp post, using statistics for support rather than for illumination. A severe lack of context or an absence of validity can make the numbers provided by the media and -- usually -- progressive pundits, meaningless at best and meretricious or fundamentally dishonest at worst.

Changing definitions, changing the data, changing history, these are all part of the poor quality of mainstream journalism when it comes to providing useful insight, full information, or unbiased opinions. Today, "objective journalism" is an oxymoron.

Consider the following to be an initial draft outline of some of the nonsense perpetuated by the supposed experts and journalists.

  • hospital bed utilization: How many beds available? How does the utilization compare to historic rates? Go hospitals have an incentive to fill beds?

  • ICU bed utilization: See above.

  • hospitalized Covid patients: Did they come in for Covid or was Covid discovered only after they came in for something else? Are hospitals the best place to treat Covid patients?

  • 97% consensus: If it's consensus, it's not science. Online survey getting 97% agreement is not science. Thousands of even better qualified science have rejected this survey and the one misreported study of the conclusions of climate studies.

  • Covid cases: Positive test is not a 'case.'

  • "anti-vaxxers"

  • "climate deniers"

  • CDC's change of the definition of a vaccine

  • CDC's directives on assigning Covid as the cause of death

  • NASA data manipulation

  • Rachel Maddow March 29, 2021 outright lies on the preventive effects of the Covid vaccine, said:

"Now we know that the vaccines work well enough that the virus stops with every vaccinated person," Maddow said on her show the evening of March 29, 2021.

"A vaccinated person gets exposed to the virus, the virus does not infect them, the virus cannot then use that person to go anywhere else," she added with a shrug. "It cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to go get more people."
