I met Dena here. What else need I say? But I will...

Marquette moved me from an associate professor to an associate dean, the biggest move in my academic career. Dena loved Marquette so much that Jane chose to attend for her own four-year education. I find joy in remembering how much each of the three of us valued our time in Milwaukee and at Marquette. We could move back there. I could even teach part-time at Marquette -- possibly. Despite what many think, the weather is not a negative factor. Hard to beat a Milwaukee summer on the lake, and the Milwaukee winter is no more oppressive, restrictive or disheartening than the four-month furnace called "summer in B'more."
