While I admire your open mindedness and your sense of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer," I feel you'd be better served looking at it this way: If you knew of a person suffering from a dirty, deadly, contagious disease, would you want to visit that person to get a better understanding of the disease or would you wait for a doctor's diagnosis or even the autopsy rather than expose your yourself? The siren sound of some of the socialist pundits can be highly seductive; I'd say stay away.

Instead, I'd recommend a good a 'curator of the critiques,' such as the site listed below, compiled by "a commune of inquiring, skeptical, politically centrist, capitalist, anglophile, traditionalist New England Yankee humans, humanoids, and animals with many interests beyond and above politics." ... Freedom from nags, cranks, government, do-gooders, control-freaks and idiots is all that we ask for."
