Spring 2019: Lutherville Timonium Soccer Club (LTSC)

More Gaby highlights from almost ten years ago. She played her heart out and matured as a leader, an athlete and a friend. Her team mates and their parents were perhaps out best social memories of Baltimore, based on Gaby's four or five years with LTRC/LTSC, following her recruitment from a rec league where she had dominated.

"Travel" soccer, like lacrosse, was a mystery to us as non-natives of Baltimore. It comprises a visual mafia among the parents and the college recruiters, more so on the lacrosse side, yet some of the best soccer teams and players had routes in their lacrosse experience, sometimes having an entire lacrosse team shift over to soccer, for their short "off season." The travel was sometimes tiresome yet not really that expensive. It made for a busy fall each year, usually culminating just before Thanksgiving.
