Laying of the sod

The day has come! After a day of preparation yesterday, this morning the sod truck arrived and a crew of ten started the installation. We also received an estimate for the deck we expect to bold in the back. I ordered the required watering permit from Darboy Sanitation that will allow me to water every day rather than three days a week. I arranged to have Greenboyz provide timers, valves, hoses and sprinklers to provide the water coverage needed to soak this sod to a sponge texture for perhaps a month, to help it to settle in to its new neighborhood, its clay base.
