December 31, 2020. The political, protest, and public policy lunacy of the past year can not deflate the sheer joy of the blessings and grace of this past year.

Start with our presence in Harrison, then find Fr Carl and Holy Spirit, then learn to enjoy the joy and serenity of a long walk in the country or the neighborhood, enjoy the wonderfulness of new neighbors, revive your faith in God, develop some good food habits, spend some quality family time, Zoom with brothers and sisters on a regular basis, feel good to walk in the heat and humidity as well as in below-freezing temperatures, create a dozen great playlists for those walks, enjoy the simple pleasures of Adam-12's innocence, sleep under a warm down comforter, relish a strong, hot shower (especially after a strong, hot or cold walk), watch your daughters continue to blossom and grow, help your parish and its school in a variety of ways, visit your in-laws often, spend a day on Green Lake with family, find those special shops -- Wild Chicory in Stockbridge, Trina's and Haen Meats in Kaukauna, Dick's Family Foods in Sherwood, Angel's and Rye restaurants in Appleton, the House of Flowers in Oshkosh -- see spectacular pink and orange sunrises and sunsets, experience the powerful, bright sun of the longest day of the year in June in the great Wisconsin north, and more.

You get the idea...
