1. “The World Is Doing Much Better Than We're Being Told..."
Not unlike the first two weeks of my management and leadership lectures. Only world's that are so very prosperous have the luxury to argue over equal outcomes. For most of the history of the world most of the world's people had one primary, existential goal: Survive another day. Often that meant "survival of the fittest," and a zero-sum life where "kill or be killed" often described the nature of interpersonal violence, from small crimes between tow people to wars between kings' armies of tens of thousands.
2. "Those Evil Capitalists... playing the game of Monopoly.
In monopoly, you start out with equity -- everybody is exactly the same -- and through the roll of the dice you end up with markedly different outcomes. The game provides a perfect illustration of what happens AFTER you achieve equity, while the Left still has no meaningful solution to ACHIEVE equity in the first place, even with pernicious "re-distribute the wealth" plans, policies, pontifications and laws.
