March 2019: Influenzer: A geezer who influences others

Influenzer (def.) One whose influence goes viral. I just made that up to describe my fifty years in higher ed — coming to an end tomorrow — where I hope that I not only directly influenced some 12,000 to 15,000 in my classes, but that they used what they learned from me to positively influence and impact the lives of tens of thousands more. I hope I was an influenzer.
