Growing glacier going unnoticed by NPR

Ten years ago, NPR posted an alarming claim that an iceberg "the size of Manhattan" had broken off from a glacier, leading them to ask a professor to comment at the horror of the event, "It's dramatic. It's disturbing." What is truly disturbing is the absence of any context or follow up reporting by NPR. Ten years later, the glacier has grown back an area about twice the size of the original iceberg, and it looks like it might "calf," i.e., break off again. This is natural. This is science. NPR is misleading the public, ignoring nature, and ignoring science.
