Gaby started her data analytics cybersecurity work today. It is a strange feeling, to see the three women of my family head off to work while I enjoy the early stages of retirement. Dena works at Ruxton Mercantile and Jane remains with the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project. Me, I maintain some sense of order or structure, with daily walks (despite the humidity), home plans (framing going up, electrical walk through in about four weeks), hardware selection (faucet, lighting, shower head), household routine (dishes, laundry, bills), and planning our trip to Edinburgh and London in September. And there remains some work to complete my transition to retirement, with my final paycheck 30 June.

After a busy few days in Appleton last week, a period of relative calm appears to be on the horizon. Dena should likely complete the electrical walk through in mid-July. The fifty-year reunion of the Eden High Class of 1969 is the last week end in July. Jane may be home in early August. We leave for Scotland in early September. The move to Harrison we've penciled in for early October.
