Fourth order prosocial leadership: Teaching the teachers

Teaching those who teach the village to raise fish.First order: Give a man a fish. Second order: Teach a man to fish. Third order: Teach a village to raise fish. Fourth: Teach those who teach the villagers to raise fish.
After several years of studying, teaching and talking about social entrepreneurship, the logical yet not immediately melding of my work on sin taxes and anti-social behavior, on prosocial behavior, on leadership and on discernible differences in the levels or "order" of positive and negative social behaviors, all of this led to this "fourth-order" concept. I had been satisfied with thinking in terms of three levels yet the more I taught on the subject of social entrepreneurship and the two higher levels of prosocial behavior involving teaching, it was natural for me to literally take things to the next level. It's what I do (take things to the next level). And it's what I do (i.e., teach).
