March 3, 2019: Crunch time

Readers of this blog know that over two weeks ago, while driving to Loyola after a storm delay, the windshield and roof of our Toyota was crushed by a block of ice and slush from an overhanging tree on Charles Street.

Our favorite body repair shop -- six visits in eighteen months qualifies them as a favorite -- made all the repairs -- including a new windshield, new roof, new rails, and a number of minor dents and scratches -- and returned the Rav4 to us this past week. Good as new. Whew!
