Catholic church confusion and lack of credibility

As a lifelong practicing Catholic, I take no pleasure in what I am about to say. While I firmly believe in the basic mission of the Catholic Church, it seems clear that the church has produced more confusion than consolation, and more reasons to leave the church than to join. Below are some of the confusing positions by the Catholic Church I have digested over the past twenty years. Maybe I misunderstood. Perhaps I have overstated. The point is that I am confused.
The poor will always be with us, if only because the wealthy have taken their wealth from the poor.
Capitalism and globalization, perhaps the greatest facilitators of wealth creation, are the root causes of poverty.
The church ignores the political forces and the fact that lockdowns that close churches also will drive 135 million people into extreme poverty.
The pope claims that the coronavirus pandemic could be nature's response to climate crisis.
Family size does not determine or cause poverty, even in poor countries or poor families.
Tens of billions of dollars that could have gone to 'fighting poverty' have gone to pay for the sins of pedophile priests.
While the cost has been in the tens of billions, few priests are in jail and even fewer of the leaders who protected them have been removed from office.
People get out of poverty by other people giving them money, through personal charity or taxpayer-funded aid.
The wealth of the church is held in stewardship; the wealth of individuals is pure greed.
Monies collected by the church to fight poverty don't necessarily need to go to the poor.
Catholic politicians who support abortion are to be admonished, unless they are Democrats.
The 'seamless garnet' argument is stronger than the sin of abortion. One of the strongest proponents? The infamous and now defrocked accused pedophile, the former Theodore Cardinal McCarrick.
Pope John Paul II was a strong opponent of communism, having lived under it for much of his life. Pope Francis is an implicit supporter of communism.
The seamless garment concept is used to accept seriously sinful behavior by arguing that, on balance, the person‘s good beliefs and practices compensate for evil. Thinking like this allowed church leaders to treat rather than turn over to the police priest pedophiles, claiming that, on balance, a great sin could be forgiven and compensated for with confession and other good behaviors. This has cost Catholics tens of billions of dollars and the Church much of its moral authority, all in support of a seamless but seriously stained garment.
A cursory exam of YouTube demonstrates the divisions within the church, starting with the lack of accountability and transparency in the handling of the global pedophilia pandemic as well as in the handling of church finances, especially in regards to funds supposed targeted for poverty programs. The bottom line is that while the gospels and scripture are confusing enough and in need of priestly guidance, the Catholic Church hierarchy seems to be divided and inconsistent with the message it preaches. What's a Catholic to do?
