March 10, 2021. Out of curiosity, I used the web to find a few links to remind me of some details of my six years (1969-1975) at SUNY Binghamton, now Binghamton University.

Start with two blog posts that cover some of my time at Binghamton.

Then I found this entry in the Binghamton alumni magazine:

"Peter Lorenzi ’73, MA ’75, retired in June 2019 after 50 years in higher education, and left Maryland for Wisconsin to be near his in-laws. He travels to visit his daughters; one works in Milwaukee and the other studies at UCLA."

I even located a recent issue of the campus newspaper, where I commented on an article:

"My first dining hall...fifty years ago. All you can eat dining halls with university employees. Fake steak nights. The early years of Co-Rec football viewed from luxury seats overlooking the field. There is some talk in the Lorenzi household of a nostalgic repeat performance of the 1974 streak of Hinman Dining Hall, before they tear the place down. The video is certain to go viral."

But for real nostalgia, noting beats this post about the senior thesis written about forty years of Hinman College, my residential college for five years, that featured stories of my exploits.
