Bending the Covid and climate curves -- or not

August 14, 2021. Once again, Tony Heller nails the deception, deceit and downright lies of the media that can't seem to read a graph or to think critically about the evidence. Either they are dishonest or incompetent.
In the left image (below), Bloomberg claims that Israel is the leading example among "dozens of other countries" in "bending the curve" (i.e. reducing the climb in Covid cases), yet looking at the data (right, below) rather then listening to the vacuous claims, it is clear that Israel presents an example that you want to avoid, of bending the curve in the wrong direction, i.e., up, not down.
Even the data in the Bloomberg article is suspect, when they only note the vaccination rate for people over the age of 70 rather than report the vaccination rate across all populations. So score Bloomberg 'zero' on credibility on Covid case reduction reporting.
In the second part of the video, Heller calls out a politician for claiming that the recent heat waves, flood and wildfires are definitive proof of climate change, and that "Anyone who tells you differently is lying to you." First, there is the sin of commission. Clearly, anyone who conflates weather with climate has a problem with the truth. Second, anyone who cites recent events without acknowledging even more damaging natural events over the past one hundred years, is lying by omission.
The entire debate about the need for 100% of the population to be vaccinated, without acknowledging those suffering futon the side effects, or the pharma firms with secret, lucrative vaccine deals with no liability, or the claims by politicians like Biden, Harris and Cuomo that they would not take the vaccine because they did not trust the government or the FDA, or noting that the FDA has still not approved the vaccine, or noting that medical personnel who worked with Covid for a year without vaccines and who are now subject to termination for not having the vaccine, all of these fa acts need to be included in the context of any public health argument.
Face it, nurses and doctors were under tremendous pressure and non-trivial risk to work on seriously ill Covid patients without benefit of a vaccine that did not exist, and that still has not been FDA-approved. Medical staff once labeled "heroes" are not being called "murderers" if they decline to take the vaccine. It is much like the police, deemed heroes twenty years ago with 9/11, now facing death, pay cuts, firings and other forms of defunding, by dishonest politicians who demand more personal security while demanding fewer police in high-crime areas.
