Strava let me down. Either that or I pressed the wrong key. Here's the story: A little over a mile into my Sunday walk I realized that Strava was not tracking. So I re-started, finished by planned walk of two more miles -- and then started over. I followed the exact path I took the first time on this, my third leg of the day. It was 1.36 miles. And then I had to head home, so I chose a route that took me 1.09 miles to get back home. Add this up and I have 5.81 miles for the afternoon, about 85 minutes of walking.

And my eyes burned throughout the walk as I slathered sunscreen on my face to mitigate some of the accumulated sun damage indicated by the multiple red marks on my face from the doctor having frozen off perhaps eight or ten instances of acitinic keratosis on Friday afternoon. I am a sorry sight to behold as I head out tomorrow on a three-day, three-city admissions tour with Loyola colleagues.
